Amy Shakespeare
ASSOCIATE
Amy is an associate in our civil and commercial litigation team, and a member of the firm’s insurance law team. Amy has experience in a range of dispute resolution forums, representing clients at mediations, before tribunals and in the District and High Courts. Amy's areas of practice include insolvency, insurance, employment and civil disputes. She is focused on giving sound practical advice and single-mindedly pursuing her clients' interests.
Amy completed a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts in 2004 and joined Young Hunter in 2010. She is also a Legal Officer in the New Zealand Army Reserve Force, providing advice and training to assist the Defence Force to comply with its legal obligations.
