Sam Henry has been promoted to the position of Senior Solicitor. Sam is a member of the firm’s civil and commercial litigation and insurance law teams.

Sam has a broad commercial litigation practice with experience in company law, contractual disputes, employment law, property law, insurance, construction, debt recovery, insolvency and estate matters. Sam also acts for clients in health and safety and criminal investigations and prosecutions. He appears as counsel in Court proceedings, as well as in mediations and arbitrations.

Sam joined the firm in late 2014 after graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (First Class) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in December 2014.

In 2016, Sam was part of the winning team in the national final of the New Zealand Law Foundation Young Lawyers’ Mooting Competition.
