New govt workplace law fine in principle – what about practice?
In a recent interview with the National Business Review (see video above), Young Hunter Senior Employment Lawyer Gerard Elwell discussed the new coalition government’s proposed changes to employment law and how some of these might work in practice.
Gerard discusses (at 2min 40s) the proposal to introduce a limit on the maximum salary an employee can earn before they would be prevented from raising a personal grievance. Gerard also provided some analysis (at 5min 25s) on the proposed changes to the law on contractors.
